Message About one month ago (after winter storage) my TT started smoking heavily on start up. This is new as it hasn't happened before..
Basically here's what I'm experiencing on start up;
My TT starts to smoke heavily within 3-5 min of start up. The smoke is blueish/gray in color, is very strong smelling and stings the eyes..
Typically the Z would stabilize idle at 1000 rpm after a few minutes..that's no longer the case. It idles at about 1500 rpms fairly rough.
If i rev once or twice a lot of watery soot will spray from the exhaust. I don't have any catilitic converter so burnt fuel spray on start up is normal but typically not as watery.. the watery substance does not seem to be oil.

after about 15 minutes the temp gauge will slightly begin to rise. the smoke still continues to be quite heavy.. following this, strangely, the temp gauge raises just below the H line like it's overheating and than starts to drop back to normal postion - halfway.. no more smoke..
After about 5-10 minutes of driving everything is fine, no more smoke, and idle is stable at 1000rpm. could itbe related to the cooling system? other possible causes? Any insight would be appreciated..thanks!
